8 Years of Francisca: A Story Built Around Latin Flavor and Shared Tables

Francisca began with a simple idea: create a place where food feels personal again. A place where charcoal fire, Latin tradition, and genuine hospitality come together the same way they do in family homes across Latin America.

What started around a single table inspired by memories and family recipes slowly became part of thousands of others. Over the years, Francisca has been woven into birthdays, quick weekday lunches, long Sunday dinners, late-night conversations, and family traditions repeated time and time again.

The most meaningful part of this journey has been seeing how many people made these flavors part of their own stories.

A Menu Inspired by Latin America

Francisca has never focused on just one country or one tradition. From the beginning, the vision was to bring together the flavors that define Latin American cooking and the dishes people grow up remembering.

Some became guest favorites from the very beginning:

The Pabellón
A classic Venezuelan dish where every ingredient tells a story of tradition and comfort.

The Bandeja Paisa
One of Colombia’s most iconic meals, created to turn every table into a celebration.

Pargo Frito
Whole red snapper seasoned and fried until perfectly crisp outside while remaining tender and flavorful inside.

The Cocada
A refreshing favorite made for warm Florida afternoons.

Charcoal, Community, and Growth

As Francisca expanded across Florida, the mission remained the same: preserve the warmth, flavor, and traditions that made the restaurant feel like home from the start.

Today, that fire continues in: Doral, Miami, Miami Lakes, Kendall, Hialeah Gardens, Orlando, Davie, and Wynwood.

Whether guests gather for a full family dinner or stop by for takeout, Francisca was built to feel familiar. Because good food does more than satisfy hunger. It brings people together.

The Flavors People Return For

Some dishes become part of everyday routines. The Arepitas de Tía Mica shared before the main course. The Pabellón that tastes like childhood. The meals ordered so often they become part of family traditions themselves.

That is what shaped Francisca through the years: honest food made with care, inspired by the flavors people grew up loving.

More Than an Anniversary

This celebration belongs to every family, every conversation, and every person who chose Francisca throughout the years.

We still believe the best moments happen around good food, real conversation, and a fire that stays alive long after the meal begins.
