At Francisca Restaurant, we believe the best way to honor Latin heritage is through food.
This Hispanic Heritage Month is a chance to celebrate our roots with the same fire that lights our grill — with pride, flavor, and memory.
A Latin Restaurant with Soul and Tradition
Since the day we opened in Miami, we knew Francisca wouldn’t be just another restaurant. We wanted every dish to speak for who we are: a continent that cooks over fire, grounded in deep roots and joyful in its generosity.
That’s why our motto — a restaurant with Latin soul — isn’t just a slogan. It’s a way of life. Every recipe we serve is inspired by Francisca herself — a woman born in Barrancas del Orinoco, who traveled across Latin America collecting the flavors that now light up our menu.
Our signature charcoal chicken, hormone-free and slow-roasted in our Josper oven, is the heart of that heritage. Golden, juicy, and filled with that unmistakable smoky aroma, it’s a dish that captures the essence of Latin flavor in Miami.

Latin American Flavors on Every Plate
Hispanic heritage is diversity.
We are many countries, many voices, and many recipes that make us feel at home — even when we’re far from it. Our menu is a reflection of that: a table where everyone has a place.
At Francisca, we serve flavors that cross borders and now stand proudly as part of our shared tradition:
- Venezuelan Hallaquitas, soft and wrapped in plantain leaves.
- Cuban Black Beans & Rice, a simple classic turned into a celebration.
- Colombian Sweet Plantains, golden and tender, shining in our Francisca Meat Bowl.
- Dominican Chicharrón, crispy and bold — perfect for sharing.
- Sister Flor’s Tres Leches, a beloved family legacy turned into a Miami favorite.
Each plate isn’t just food — it’s history served to your table.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage in Miami, One Charcoal Flame at a Time
During Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re reminded that cooking isn’t just a skill — it’s an emotion.
When someone tastes our Tres Leches and smiles because it reminds them of their childhood afternoons, we know we’ve done our job.
Yes, heritage lives in ingredients — but even more so in intention.
In preparing charcoal chicken the way Francisca used to on family Sundays.
In serving sides that aren’t just “extras”, but part of a deeper ritual.
In welcoming each guest like you’re opening the door to your own home.
Pride That Brings the Latin Community Together
This month — and every month — we invite you to celebrate the pride of our shared traditions.
Come taste, remember, and feel how every flavor connects to the heart of who we are.
Because food doesn’t just nourish — it unites us, reminds us of our roots, and makes us proud of our heritage.
